The band was formed in by mans Dale and Troy Thompson. In 1981, they started the band Matrix and released four independent albums/demos using this name. Then in 1986 they landed a record deal with Pure Metal Records. They decided to change their name to Bride. Took a non-metal direction in later years, experimenting with blues and mallcore.
